Almighty Allah says in the Holy Qur’an: “It is neither the meat 🥩 (of slaughtered animals) 🐑nor their blood that reaches Allah at all, but it is the Godwariness 💚 that reaches Him from you.” (Quran 22:37) As we celebrate Eid al-Adha, we are deeply grateful for your generous Qurbani donations, which have enabled us to distribute Qurbani meat to impoverished and needy communities in West Bengal, Karnataka, and Telangana.
Many of these communities rarely have the luxury of eating meat and struggle to afford nutritious food. Thanks to your generosity, countless families are able to celebrate Eid joyously with nourishing meals. This year, MIWF was able to distribute fresh meat to approximately 9,000 individuals. The head of our Welfare division, Dr. Ziauddin Sheikh, expressed his gratitude, stating, “There have been many fraud cases reported this year in Qurbani campaigns, and MIWF has emerged as one of the few organizations in India that has completed the Qurbani project with complete transparency and professionalism. We are grateful to our donors who entrusted this responsibility to us.”
In light of the numerous fraud cases reported this year in Qurbani campaigns, MIWF’s commitment to transparency and professionalism has set us apart. We understand the trust our donors place in us and strive to uphold the highest standards of integrity. By ensuring that every donation is utilized effectively and reaches those in need, we have maintained the confidence of our supporters and demonstrated our dedication to ethical practices.
Syed Najam, the Qurbani-Project head, shared his insights on this year’s efforts: “Alhamdulillah, MIWF reached out to extremely poor and needy families in Nevada, Bihar, and tribal areas near Sundarban in West Bengal, and we were able to provide fresh food to around 9,000 individuals.” Our team’s efforts to expand our reach have ensured that even the most marginalized communities can partake in the blessings of Eid al-Adha. By targeting areas with high levels of poverty and food insecurity, we have made a significant impact on the lives of many families who otherwise might have gone without.
The success of this year’s Qurbani project is a testament to the collective effort of our donors, volunteers, and staff. Your generous donations have empowered us to bring joy and sustenance to those in need. The distribution of Qurbani meat is more than just providing food; it is an act of solidarity and compassion, embodying the true spirit of Eid al-Adha.
As we reflect on our achievements this Eid, we also look forward to continuing our mission of serving humanity. MIWF remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities, promoting interfaith harmony, and fostering a spirit of empathy and generosity. Your continued support is crucial in helping us reach more individuals and communities in need.
In conclusion, we extend our deepest gratitude to all our donors and well-wishers. Your contributions have made a tangible difference in the lives of many, and together, we have celebrated Eid al-Adha with a spirit of giving and compassion. May Allah bless you and your families for your generosity and support. Eid Mubarak!
