During the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the Hyderabad team of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) India embarked on a series of heartwarming welfare activities. These activities exemplify the teachings of compassion and service advocated by Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Irrespective of religious boundaries, the team extended its support to the underprivileged, sick, and orphans, portraying the true essence of the Islamic faith. The interfaith and welfare aspects of Islam as taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). One of the foundational Hadiths instructs believers to "Feed the poor, visit the sick, and free the captives." These teachings emphasize the universal nature of these actions, transcending religious affiliations.The MQI India Hyderabad team embarked on a noble mission to serve humanity. They visited various locations during this interfaith and welfare event, distributing food and fruit packets to those in need. These selfless acts of kindness aimed to alleviate the suffering of the less fortunate and showcase the values of Islam.
Charminar Hospital: The team visited Charminar Hospital, where they extended their assistance to approximately 200 patients. Their presence and support brought solace and comfort to individuals facing health challenges. Indo-American Cancer Hospital (Arogyashree Patients): Around 150 patients at the Indo-American Cancer Hospital received aid from the MQI India Hyderabad team. These patients, often grappling with the hardships of battling cancer, found relief in the caring gestures of the volunteers.
Through these selfless endeavors, the team not only fulfilled their moral and religious obligations but also exemplified the values of compassion, solidarity, and interfaith harmony.
