Minhaj-ul-Quran International India (MQII) West Bengal marked a momentous occasion on October 7, 2022, as they hosted the Jashn-e-Milad and Interfaith Event at Hotel Crestwood, Kolkata. This remarkable gathering was graced by the presence of esteemed religious leaders, fostering an atmosphere of unity and understanding. The event featured two prominent Chief Guests, Yogi Pratik Majumdar and Gourav Singha Ray. Yogi Pratik Majumdar, a devout follower of Shri Radhe Krishna and Shri Chaitanya Maha Prabhu, a Hindu Tantra and Yogi Guru, and a former Member of the International Council of Jurists, London, was among the distinguished guests. Gourav Singha Ray, a respected Pastor and Motivational Speaker, added his insights to the event.
The messages of global peace and interfaith harmony, in alignment with the vision of Minhaj-ul-Quran Founder Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir ul Qadri, resonated throughout the gathering. Syed Najam, the President of Minhaj-ul-Quran West Bengal, warmly welcomed representatives from various communities, emphasizing the importance of repairing the bonds of a divided world. He eloquently stated, "Today evil has damaged the divine heart, divided its human body, so let us repair its broken strings." He urged attendees to recognize the commonality among religions, fostering a sense of unity and reverence.
