31st December 2016 -1st January 2017
During the blessed month of Rabi al-Awwal, commemorating the birth of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation (MIWF) actively engaged in various acts of charity to help those in need. These initiatives are a reflection of the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him), which emphasize compassion, peace, and mercy. In Hyderabad, Telangana, the MIWF team embarked on a series of welfare activities:
Day 1 (Saturday, December 31, 2016): MIWF visited an often overlooked orphanage, located in an old government building. The team provided a nourishing dinner for the underprivileged orphans and distributed confectionery and essential stationary items.
These endeavors during the sacred month of Rabi al-Awwal align with MIWF's mission to serve humanity, inspired by the core teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which prioritize the welfare of the poor, the sick, and orphans. Such acts of kindness and charity exemplify the values of peace, compassion, and mercy instilled by the Prophet in the hearts of his followers.
